BAT TURKEY is seeking a fixed-term Legal Intern to join the Legal Team in Istanbul, Türkiye. This internship offers learning opportunities across different legal and regulatory topics and exposure to a global FMCG environment.

Ideal candidates are ambitious, have a university law degree or are current law students, and can commit to full-time hours. English proficiency and strong analytical skills are essential to succeed in this fast-changing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research legislation and provide timely observations to the team.

British American Tobacco is currently looking for a, fixed term Legal Intern to join our Legal Team in Istanbul, Türkiye!

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Research of legislation and timely provision of made observations to the team
• Review of contracts and its related integral parts from the perspective of implementation efficiency and Company’s judicial safety
• Assist on legal activity of the Company, based on internal procedures, corporate guidelines and external regulations.
• Ensure implementation of compliance policies and procedures withing the organization

What are we looking for?

• Having completed a summer internship at an international law firm or an international FMCG company will be considered a strong asset
• Corporate knowledge background is an asset; Strong work ethics & high level of legal understanding
• Ambition to work in a fast-changing work environment; Eagerness to work in different legal and regulatory topics
• Strong analytical skills and attention on details is critical; Excellent interpersonal skills
• Solid time management and able to prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; Fluency in English; Ability to optimally learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
• University degree in Law- fresh graduate
• Able to work full time
