Job summary

MicroPort in Turkey seeks a Senior Regional Sales Director for the Balkans to shape and execute the commercial strategy, drive growth, and expand market share for robotic and interventional cardiology portfolios. You will lead the regional sales team and distributor network and build strategic relationships with hospitals and key stakeholders.

The role requires deep Balkans market knowledge, a proven leadership record, fluent English (local languages a plus), and willingness to travel 50–70%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of medical device sales experience, with at least 3 years in regional management or leadership within the Balkans.
• Deep understanding of the Balkans healthcare landscape, procurement processes, and regulatory environment.
• Documented success in building and managing high-performing regional teams and distributor networks.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent command of English (C1); local Balkans languages are a strong advantage.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently (50-70%) across the Balkans with no travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy for the Balkans region to achieve growth and market share objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the regional sales team and distributor network.
• Drive commercial success for the MicroPort portfolio across the region.
• Identify and prioritize key market opportunities for portfolio expansion.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with high-level KOLs, hospital accounts, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent MicroPort at regional conferences and major medical events.
• Oversee distributor management, ensuring performance alignment, training, and compliance.
• Implement robust forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to implement regional initiatives.
• Provide market feedback to global HQ to influence product and commercial strategies.
