Job summary

Webasto Group is seeking a Modules Engineer Design to join our Engineering Department in Turkey. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into robust mechanical designs from concept to production, using Autodesk Inventor or CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE.

You will work on sheet metal, plastic injection molding and additive manufacturing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of automotive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of mechanical design / product development experience, preferably in automotive or similar industries.
Advanced 3D CAD skills with strong experience in Autodesk Inventor and CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer specifications and CAD data to translate into feasible mechanical designs meeting quality, cost and timing targets.
Develop designs from concept to serial production across the development lifecycle.
Create 3D parts and assemblies using Inventor and CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE.
Prepare production-ready 2D drawings with tolerances and GD&T.
Develop manufacturable designs considering materials, tooling and assembly constraints.
Support prototype builds and supplier discussions to improve designs.
