Job summary
GE Vernova in Gebze seeks an Automation & Digitalization Engineer to design, implement, and support automation, robotics, and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, automation, robotics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing industrial automation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation, robotics, and digitalization solutions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Lead automation and digital transformation projects from concept through commissioning.
- Support operations by ensuring reliability and continuous improvement of automation systems.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/DT, and suppliers to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies, AI-enabled applications, and data analytics to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, and cost efficiency via automation and digital tech.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for automation and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, cybersecurity, and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and promoting digital innovation.
