Job summary

Arçelik-LG in Gebze is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Automation & Production Engineering team. You will lead automation projects, drive transformation, and raise the overall automation level across operations by designing and developing robust, smart manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Control & Automation, Electrical & Electronics, or related fields, with 3–5 years of industrial automation experience and strong English.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Control & Automation, Electrical & Electronics, or related fields.
3–5 years of experience in industrial automation
Strong command of English
Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Simatic, TIA Portal, etc.)
Experience in HMI and motion control systems
Basic knowledge of: Statistical analysis
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Strong analytical thinking with a business-oriented mindset
Clear communication skills and openness to different perspectives

Responsibilities

Lead and manage automation & transformation projects
Increase the overall automation level across operations
Design and develop automation systems
Support mechanical installation and troubleshoot technical issues
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams
