Job summary

Aydın Law in Istanbul seeks an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of experience to advise on corporate and commercial matters and participate in litigation. The role involves drafting, client interaction, and cross-border collaboration on domestic and international matters.

You will handle contracts, due diligence, and provide legal opinions while managing deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment. English proficiency and Turkish bar status are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Admission to a bar association in Türkiye with 3–5 years of practice as a lawyer
• Demonstrated experience in corporate law and commercial law
• Hands‑on experience in litigation, dispute resolution and related legal proceedings
• Advanced command of English, both written and spoken, including legal drafting
• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgment
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Ability to work on‑site at our Istanbul office
• Strong communication, client management and teamwork skills
• Graduation from Türkiye's leading law faculties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on corporate, commercial and general business law matters
• Handle litigation and dispute resolution matters, including drafting pleadings, petitions and other procedural submissions
• Manage case files, follow court proceedings and ensure timely completion of procedural steps and deadlines
• Research legislation, regulations and case law, and prepare legal memoranda and practical written advice
• Communicate with clients, counterparties and external counsel, and coordinate matter-related correspondence
• Assist in structuring and implementing corporate transactions, including M&A matters and corporate reorganizations
• Review corporate records and transaction documents and support legal due diligence exercises
• Identify and assess legal risks and develop practical recommendations for clients
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts and other legal documentsPrepare legal opinions on corporate, commercial, regulatory and contentious matters.

Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our Istanbul office. The successful candidate will advise clients primarily on corporate and commercial law matters and take an active role in litigation, dispute resolution and related legal proceedings.
