Job summary

Schoenherr Attorneys at Law in Turkey is seeking a full-time employment lawyer to advise domestic and international clients on all employment law matters. The role includes contract drafting, litigation, and representation, with a focus on labor and enforcement law.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and a track record in dispute resolution. The position offers a hybrid work model, international collaboration, and clear professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Membership in a local Bar Association (Türkiye).
• 2–3 years of Labour Law and/or Enforcement Law experience.
• Experience with court procedures, litigation workflows, and client representation.
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent legal drafting, document review and legal research skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support domestic and international companies in employment law matters, including court representation.
• Draft employment contracts and review legal documents through to termination.
• Support HR-related aspects of M&A transactions and workforce restructurings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions; manage litigation workflows.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to publications.

What To Expect

• Advising and supporting domestic and international companies in all areas of individual and collective employment law, including representation in court proceedings;
• Providing legal advice to companies on all employment-related matters, from drafting employment contracts through to their termination;
• Supporting the employment law aspects of M&A transactions;
• Assisting with workforce restructurings and organizational changes in the HR area;
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents;
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions;
• Managing and supporting court procedures and litigation workflows;
• Collaborating with team members on complex cases;
• Maintaining strong client relationships;
• Keeping up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments;
• Contributing to relevant publications and articles.

What Sets You Apart

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law;
• Membership in a local Bar Association (Türkiye);
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Labour Law (İş Hukuku) and/or Enforcement Law (İcra Hukuku);
• Experience with court procedures, litigation workflows, and client representation;
• Strong English proficiency (both written and spoken), additional language skills are a plus;
• Strong legal drafting, document review, and legal research skills;
• Practical understanding of dispute resolution processes;
• Previous involvement in administrative procedures at courthouses or Enforcement Offices is a strong advantage;
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
