We are seeking an Assistant General Manager – Healthcare Logistics Operations for our Healthcare Logistics operations in Istanbul and Kocaeli.
The Assistant General Manager – Healthcare Logistics Operations is responsible for leading healthcare logistics operations and managing operational processes in line with company standards, customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing warehousing, inventory management, inbound and outbound operations, distribution and operational teams. The position also requires a strong understanding of healthcare logistics, GDP requirements, quality standards, operational efficiency and performance management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering,
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the healthcare and/or logistics industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial position,
- Strong knowledge of operational management, process improvement and performance management,
- Experience with GMP/GDP requirements and Quality Assurance processes,
- Strong command of MS Office applications and operational management and reporting tools,
- Advanced level of written and spoken English,
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning and organizational skills,
- Strong leadership, communication and team-building capabilities,
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,
- Valid Class B driving licence and active driving experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the development and execution of the company’s strategic and operational plans in line with business objectives,
- Leading and coordinating healthcare logistics operations to ensure efficient, sustainable and high-quality service delivery,
- Ensuring operational processes are carried out in compliance with GMP/GDP requirements, Quality Assurance standards and company procedures,
- Managing and developing operational teams while ensuring effective workforce and resource planning,
- Monitoring operational performance through KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions,
- Managing operational budgets, costs, productivity and P&L performance,
- Developing and implementing projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and service quality,
- Managing relationships and operational processes with customers, suppliers and business partners,
- Ensuring customer expectations and service-level requirements are effectively managed,
- Preparing and presenting regular operational and performance reports to senior management,
- Leading the operational integration and transition processes of newly acquired businesses and operations,
- Working closely with relevant departments to ensure continuous improvement, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
