Job summary

FMC HR is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth for our German client in Türkiye. The role is based in Türkiye with a home-office setup and reports to the Director Sales International in Germany.

You will acquire and grow customers, shape market strategies, and coordinate with internal teams. The ideal candidate holds engineering-related degree, has several years in high-quality capital equipment sales, and is fluent in Turkish and English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
Several years of experience in the sales of high-quality capital equipment.
Business-fluent in Turkish and English; German is an advantage.
Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Acquire new customers and develop, expand, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Build and leverage an active network to identify new business opportunities and strengthen sales activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of market and sales strategies.
Assess market potential, provide rolling forecasts, and translate insights into targeted sales strategies.
Provide technical and commercial consultation, prepare quotations, and manage the sales process from initial inquiry through successful completion.
Plan and participate in trade fairs, customer events, and other sales activities, including the preparation of presentations.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and customer support.
Represent the company and the Sales function professionally both internally and externally.
