Job summary

Döhler Turkey is seeking a Teamlead Application (Beverage & Food) to manage the application team at the Maltepe Office in Istanbul. The role involves leading recipe development, ensuring SAP parameter accuracy, and coordinating with the Sampling Lab and Pilot Plant for customer projects.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Food or Chemical Engineering, have 5+ years in a lab environment, and 2+ years of team leadership experience, with strong English and SAP/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory (food & beverage preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• Excellent English written and spoken skills.
• Good teamwork and strong communication capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the application team, ensuring motivation, performance, and technical capability.
• Oversee development and maintenance of beverage or food recipes for customer and innovation projects.
• Manage creation, approval, and accuracy of recipes and process parameters in SAP.
• Coordinate customer sample production with Sampling Lab and Pilot Plant.
• Ensure lab trials are executed correctly and organize tastings for product development.
• Plan and manage resources (people, material, financial) in line with budget.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements and internal regulations for product development.
• Drive digital transformation and optimize business processes.
• Support shelf-life and product-specific tests and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate technical data in digital systems and databases.
• Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
