Job summary

Denholm Good Logistics is seeking a seasoned Airfreight Operations Specialist for our İzmir team. You will coordinate end-to-end shipments, book cargo space, and ensure timely pick-up and delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in airfreight freight forwarding, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Turkish and English. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems will help you succeed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end airfreight shipments, including booking cargo space.
• Prepare and check transport documentation.
• Ensure timely pick-up, handling, and delivery.
• Monitor shipments, update internal systems, resolve delays or exceptions, and ensure customs, carrier, and aviation compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and customers to provide status updates and support pricing/quotations.
• Assist with process improvements, KPI reporting, and smooth airfreight operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination of end-to-end airfreight shipments, including booking cargo space,
• Preparing and checking transport documentation,
• Ensuring timely pick-up, handling, and delivery.
• Monitoring shipments, updating internal systems, proactively resolving delays or exceptions, and maintaining compliance with customs, carrier, and aviation regulations.
• Collaborating with internal teams, carriers, and customers to provide status updates, respond to inquiries, and support pricing and quotation activities.
• Assisting with process improvements, supporting KPI reporting, and contributing to smooth, efficient airfreight operations.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills to interpret shipment data, monitor KPIs, and support problem-solving in daily operations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams in a clear, professional manner.
• At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding in airfreight operations.
