Allianz Group is expanding its Central Transactional Accounting team and seeks a skilled Transactional Accountant to manage a defined scope of accounts, drive accurate postings, and support AI-enabled automation initiatives.

The role emphasizes robust internal controls, month-end close assistance, and collaboration with IT for digital finance transformations. Strong English communication and a background in insurance/Shared Services are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with local GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
• Hands-on transactional accounting, AP, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Exposure to IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in a finance shared services or GBS environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record operations and transactions in accounting systems per internal and regulatory requirements (local GAAP, IFRS, tax, legal).
• Ensure feeder-system transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved.
• Perform bank reconciliations and review monthly close journals.
• Prepare for external audits and help close findings.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to automate transactional workflows and improve reporting.
