Job summary

Avansas.com in Turkey is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to build predictive models for personalization, churn prevention, pricing, and campaign optimization. You will work with large datasets, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into action.

The role requires designing and analyzing A/B tests, collaborating with data engineers to deploy models into production, and leveraging GA4 analytics and AI-powered automations to improve product and business processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, ML or related field.
• Strong foundation in statistics, ML, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with recommendation systems, clustering, or time series forecasting.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) and SQL.
• Strong interest in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLM-based applications.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Product and growth mindset with experience analyzing GA4 data.
• Experience building or contributing to AI-powered solutions and workflow automations.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures is a plus.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models to support personalization, churn prevention, pricing, and campaign optimization initiatives
• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other controlled experiments
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify user behavior patterns, growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with data engineers to deploy and integrate models into production environments
• Monitor, validate, and continuously improve model performance using appropriate evaluation techniques
• Design and implement AI-powered workflow automations to improve operational efficiency and business processes
