Job summary

Agito Software & Consulting is hiring an AI Developer to redefine software delivery using AI in insurance platforms. You will design domain-aware AI systems and AI-native software development workflows to accelerate delivery and consistency across teams.

Working with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, and vector databases, you will implement RAG architectures, build AI copilots, and shape AI guardrails and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong backend development skills (Python, Java, or Node.js).
• Experience with microservices and API-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

At Agito, we build next-generation insurance platforms used by leading companies. We are looking for an AI Developer who will go beyond building AI features — and instead redefine how software is developed using AI.

This role focuses on designing domain-aware AI systems and AI-native software development workflows (AI-SDLC), enabling our teams to build faster, smarter, and more consistently using AI.

What You Will Do

Domain-Aware AI Systems

• Design and build LLM-powered, domain-aware systems for insurance use cases
• Create and maintain domain knowledge stores (structured + unstructured)
• Develop context engineering strategies to improve LLM accuracy and consistency
• Build RAG-based architectures leveraging enterprise data and business rules

AI-Native Software Development (AI-SDLC)

• Design and implement AI-assisted development workflows:
• Define standards for AI-assisted development across teams
• Integrate AI tools into CI/CD and developer workflows
• Build and integrate LLM-based services into scalable enterprise systems
• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
• Implement AI assistants and internal developer copilots
• Design evaluation pipelines (accuracy, hallucination, latency, cost)
• Apply guardrails, monitoring, and cost optimization for AI systems

What We Are Looking For

Core Engineering Skills

• 3–5 years of software development experience
• Strong backend development skills (Python, Java, or Node.js)
• Experience with microservices and API-based architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices

AI & LLM Expertise

• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
• Experience with Generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• Knowledge of RAG architectures and embedding models
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus)

AI Development Mindset

• Experience or strong interest in:
• AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
• Building systems that generate code, not just use code

Nice to Have

• Experience designing domain knowledge models / ontologies
• Familiarity with MLOps / LLMOps practices
• Experience in insurance, fintech, or enterprise platforms
• Experience with AI agents or autonomous workflows
