ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy agentic AI workflows powered by Large Language Models. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to turn emergent AI capabilities into scalable, value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, NLP, Generative AI.
• Degree in CS/AI/ML/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade AI applications.
• Strong Python skills and production-ready code.
• Experience with LLM, Generative AI, NLP or Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience designing RAG systems with vector databases and embeddings.
• Familiar with prompting, evaluation, and model optimization methods.
• Experience integrating AI with APIs, tools, databases, workflows, and enterprise platforms.
• Fluent English and strong communication.

Help define how Agentic AI is built across ING

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly evolving from predictive models and conversational interfaces into autonomous systems capable of reasoning, planning, and taking action.

At ING, we're building the next generation of banking capabilities through Agentic AI. As part of our global Analytics Engineering organization, you'll help develop intelligent systems that support domains such as Pricing, Risk Management, Financial Crime, Customer Intelligence, and People Analytics.

As an Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist, you'll play a key role in shaping how these capabilities are designed, scaled, and adopted across ING's international network.

About the Role

As an Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist in Agentic AI, you will design, build, and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows powered by Large Language Models.

Working closely with Product Leads, Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders, you'll turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable solutions that create measurable business value.

This role sits above our Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist track and is intended for professionals who want to deepen their technical impact while remaining hands‑on.

What You'll Help Build

As an Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist, you'll work on some of the most advanced AI challenges within ING.

• AI agents that interact with tools, APIs, databases, and business applications.
• Multi‑agent workflows that support complex reasoning and decision‑making processes.
• Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures powered by vector databases and embedding‑based retrieval.
• Context‑aware AI solutions that combine business data, enterprise systems, and Large Language Models.
• Agent evaluation, monitoring, governance, and reliability frameworks.
• AI solutions operating within highly regulated financial‑services environments.

For example, you might help design a multi‑agent workflow that retrieves information from multiple sources, generates recommendations, and supports decision‑making across customer, risk, or operational processes.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, Generative AI, or related disciplines.
• A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience building and deploying production‑grade AI applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience delivering production‑ready code.
• Experience building LLM, Generative AI, NLP, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Practical experience designing and implementing RAG systems using vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval‑based architectures.
• Experience with modern LLM development patterns, prompting techniques, evaluation approaches, and model optimisation methods.
• Familiarity with fine‑tuning, PEFT, prompt engineering, or similar customization techniques.
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, tools, databases, workflows, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, Vertex AI, workflow orchestration platforms, or distributed AI architectures will be considered an advantage.
