- Perform service and maintenance activities for Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems and related control systems.
- Ensure the operational continuity, reliability, and performance of deployed AGV/AMR systems.
- Execute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct periodic customer visits to assess system health, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
- Service and maintain system components including sensors, PLCs, motor drives, safety devices, and communication equipment.
- Verify hardware integrity and proper functionality of field equipment and external components.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Perform service operations at customer facilities while following relevant procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and communication-related issues, partially in cooperation with internal teams and external suppliers when required.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Track, manage, and follow up technical issues and service requests until full resolution.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Identify spare part requirements, maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the After Sales Lead regarding customer visits, service activities, maintenance performance, open technical issues, and improvement actions.
- Communicate customer feedback, technical findings, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities identified in the field.
- Work closely with Project, Manufacturing, Design, Robotics, Software, and Deployment teams to support technical issue resolution and continuous product improvement.
- Ensure service requests, maintenance activities, and technical actions are completed within defined service level expectations.
- Support customer training activities when required.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support customer service activities.
Experience
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
- Full understanding of Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning support, or technical support activities within industrial environments.
- Previous experience with robotics and/or autonomous vehicle technologies is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is considered an advantage.
- Experience with software development tools such as Python is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS-485, CANBUS, Modbus, and similar industrial networks is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of OPC systems is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in AGV/AMR, intralogistics, robotics, automated material handling, or industrial automation industries is preferred.
- Valid driver's license (Class B).

This position is more than a traditional maintenance role. The successful candidate will represent Bluepath Robotics at customer sites, take ownership of technical issue resolution, maintain customer relationships, and actively contribute to the success of our after-sales service operations.
