Job summary

Hayat in Türkiye is seeking an Advanced R&D Executive, Packaging to join our R&D Packaging team at our Headquarters in Kocaeli. The role will drive innovative packaging concepts using new materials and manufacturing processes, leading cross-functional projects within Global Consumer Group R&D.

The ideal candidate holds a master's in engineering, 5+ years in R&D, and strong English. This position offers global exposure, collaboration with suppliers, and opportunities to scale up new technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D projects.
• Proficiency in rigid plastic forming technologies and blow molding.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to Kocaeli.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative packaging concepts using new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Explore and evaluate new plastic and label materials and advanced label application technologies to improve functionality, sustainability and consumer experience.
• Monitor emerging technologies, sustainability trends, and regulatory developments and translate them into packaging roadmaps.
• Lead development and validation of innovative packaging solutions and scale up technologies with suppliers and production.

We are currently seeking a talented “ Advanced R&D Executive, Packaging” to join our dynamic “R&D Packaging” team. Based at our “Headquarters” in “Kocaeli”, this role will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group “Global” “R&D”.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possessing a master's degree in engineering is a must,
• 5+ years of experience in R&D projects,
• Proficiency in rigid plastic forming technologies& blow molding,
• Familiarity with most Plastic Forming Technologies is strongly preferred,
• Excellent problem solving skills and crisis management,
• Ability to leverage interpersonal skills into forming strong relationships and having excellent communication skills,
• Ability to adapt well to the changing conditions of a very dynamic corporate environment,
• Being open to new ideas and following innovations with a researcher spirit,
• Highly professional project leader with strong work ethics,
• Self-motivated person with the ability to quickly understand objectives and independently manage to deliver results,
• Strategic thinking skills,
• Fluency in English,
• No restriction to travel,
• Located/able to locate in Kocaeli.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop innovative packaging concepts by leveraging new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes,
• Explore and evaluate new plastic and label materials, as well as advanced label application technologies, to deliver improved functionality, performance, sustainability, and consumer experience,
• Monitor emerging technologies, sustainability trends, and regulatory developments and translate them into new packaging solutions and technology roadmaps,
• Lead the development and validation of innovative packaging solutions, including rigid plastic packaging materials,
• Global technologies and best practices and collaborate with suppliers, production, and other R&D functions to scale up and industrialize new technologies.
