Job summary

YEO in Istanbul's Kartal district seeks a highly skilled Accounting Manager to lead international subsidiary accounting activities in line with local regulations and a unified chart of accounts.

The role requires a CPA/SMMM license, IFRS knowledge, and 13+ years of accounting experience in multinational settings, with strong English proficiency and ERP experience. The successful candidate will manage the accounting team and interact with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 13 years of accounting experience (preferably in multinational companies).
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• CPA/SMMM license holder.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/UFRS applications.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Experience with Canias ERP system.
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounting processes of international subsidiaries in accordance with local regulations and uniform chart of accounts.
• Executing month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Overseeing tax planning and preparation of tax declarations.
• Supervising VAT refund processes.
• Managing e-invoice, e-ledger, and e-archive operations.
• Conducting budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial evaluations.
• Preparing statutory financial statements and reporting to senior management.
• Coordinating independent audit processes.
• Leading, guiding, and developing the accounting team.
