Job summary

UPS SCS is seeking an Accounting Clerk (Billing) to ensure timely, accurate invoicing for freight, warehousing, customs, intercompany and service-related transactions. The role collaborates with Operations, Accounting and AR to support financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will prepare invoices, manage adjustments and intercompany billing, and maintain billing records in line with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in billing, invoicing, or finance operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English and Istanbul residency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process freight, warehousing, customs, and service invoices.
• Ensure accurate billing based on data from multiple systems.
• Manage invoice adjustments, credit notes, cancellations, and corrections.
• Support exchange rate difference invoicing and other charges.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, AR and other departments to resolve billing issues.
• Process intercompany billing and cost allocation transactions.
• Support monthly cost recharges and service invoicing.
• Maintain billing records and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

UPS SCS is looking for an Accounting Clerk (Billing) who will be responsible for the timely and accurate billing of freight, warehousing, customs, intercompany, and service-related transactions. The role supports financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, customer billing requirements, and cost allocation processes while working closely with Operations, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process freight, warehousing, customs, and service-related invoices.
• Ensure accurate billing based on operational and financial data from multiple systems.
• Manage invoice adjustments, credit notes, cancellations, and correction entries.
• Support exchange rate difference invoicing and other customer charge calculations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve billing issues.
• Process intercompany billing and cost allocation transactions.
• Support monthly cost recharges and service invoicing activities.
• Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in billing, invoicing, finance operations, shared services, or a similar role will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes, billing activities, and invoice management.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Residing in Istanbul.
