Job summary

Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, seeks a Technologist-Accountant for its Konya plant in Türkiye. You will ensure production continuity of financial operations, maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment standards, and uphold company procedures.

Key tasks include accounting entries, invoicing, tax calculations, and preparing financial reports. Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and SAP experience are required; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment or IFRS-enabled company.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
• ERP proficiency, preferably SAP, and basic English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounting records through the ERP system, performs reconciliations, and manages AP processes.
• Manages invoicing for customers and intercompany transactions with accurate entries.
• Supports tax calculations, statutory declarations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Contributes to financial reporting and periodic audits; supports implementation of accounting regulations.

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Technologist for our plant in Konya, Türkiye.

The Technologist reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible for guaranteeing production continuity and product conformity by ensuring process stability in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations, and in line with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintains accounting records through the ERP system, performs account reconciliations, and manages accounts and accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Manages invoicing processes for customers and intercompany transactions, ensuring the accurate recording of related accounting entries.
• Supports tax calculations, statutory declarations, and the preparation of the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reports.
• Contributes to the preparation of financial reports by analyzing accounting data and prepares the documentation required for periodic audits.
• Supports the implementation of accounting and fiscal regulations and contributes to the financial and administrative processes carried out by the Administration and Finance Manager.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Good knowledge of tax legislation and regulations.
• Good knowledge of business economics.
• Excellent applied knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Basic knowledge of English.
