Job summary

ABB Robotics in Bursa, Türkiye is seeking a Project Engineer to support multiple robotics projects with technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. You will develop technical recommendations across project phases, assist on-site commissioning, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while upholding ABB standards.

This role requires collaboration with sales and engineering teams and may involve travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (Mechatronic, Control & Automation).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Robotics, welding, fixture and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of industrial robot operations.
• Experience in offline robot programming and simulation packages (RobotStudio) is a plus.
• Advanced level of English skills.
• No limitation for travel and working on site local and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Support various projects in ABB Robotics in Bursa, Türkiye, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
• Make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
• Lead on-site commissioning and verify virtual simulations.
• Carry out commissioning studies by actively accompanying the projects locally and abroad.
• Prepare documentations for ABB standards.
• Represent ABB during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist salespeople during customer visits when necessary.

This Position reports to: Project Office Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the support person for various projects in ABB Robotics in Bursa; Türkiye, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. You will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

• Responsible for offline andonline robot programming, simulationof designed tools and equipment,
• Making the reachability studies of tools and robots in ABB 3DRobotStudiosoftware,
• Preparing documentations fordesignoutput,
• Having and pro-active role in supply chainfor the mechanicalparts ABB procures from suppliers starting from selection until quality controlprocesses,
• Leading on-site commissioningand verifying virtual simulations,
• Carrying out commissioning studies by actively accompanying the projects local and abroad,
• Following manufacturing, assembly and start-up phases of designed equipments to ensure qualityand functionality,
• Preparing documentations for ABB standards,
• Supporting R&D projectsand developing new robotic cells,
• Represent ABB during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction,
• Assist salespeople during customer visits when necessary.

Qualifications for the role

• University degree in Engineeringdegree (Mechatronic, Control & Automation),
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in Robotics,welding, fixture and commissionining processes,
• Knowledge of industrial robotoperations,
• Preferably have process knowledge in one or more disciplines such as welding,material handling, paint, press automation, picking/packing/palletizing, cameraapplicationsetc. is a plus,
• Experience in ABB Robots is a definite plus,
• Experience in offline robot programming and simulationpackages (RobotStudio) is a plus.
• Automation, picking/packing/palletizing, cameraapplicationsetc. is a plus
• Advanced level of English skills,
• Innovative,teamplayer and highly motivated profile with stronginterpersonalskills,
