A leading consulting firm in Singapore is searching for a proficient Frontend Engineer specializing in React. In this 12-month contract role, the candidate will design and maintain web applications, collaborate with design teams, and mentor junior staff. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with expertise in JavaScript fundamentals and modern frontend technologies. Frontend Engineer- (REACT Expert)
12 months contract
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, performant, and visually appealing user interfaces while collaborating closely with design and backend teams.
- Develop and maintain complex, responsive web applications using React.
- Implement and manage Design Systems (MUI or custom in-house solutions).
- Build state management solutions using Redux or Context API.
- Integrate data fetching strategies using RTK Query or React Query.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with strong adherence to JavaScript fundamentals (event loop, promises, closures, async/await).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- React - Expert
- Design System (MUI or In-house)
- Redux / Context API
- RTK Query or React Query
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (event loop, promises, closures, async)
- Experience with Monorepo tools like Nx
- Understanding of Microfrontend architecture
- Basics of Module Federation
- Familiarity with Web Components or iFrames
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality frontend applications.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
