Onsite IT Support Engineer
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an IT support professional to serve as the primary contact for employee IT issues. Responsibilities include installing and upgrading software, troubleshooting hardware problems, and maintaining inventory logs. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for IT related problems and issues for employees.
- Install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware and software problems on computer systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory database, repair log and activity log.
- Enforce IT guidelines and policies.
- Manage user accounts and set permissions.
- Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors.
- Monitor emerging trends that develop in the ticketing system.
- Assist with network implementation projects.
- Contribute to the IT knowledge base.
