Your role :

We’re looking for a Software Engineer in SG to support the strategic build‑out and delivery of the Conversational Analytics Channel Expansion Pod, which is fully based out of Singapore and is responsible for delivering high‑impact functionalities across Conversational Analytics initiatives.

• support the strategic build‑out and delivery of the Conversational Analytics Channel Expansion Pod
• contribute to infra, back‑end and front‑end capabilities, including DevOps, platform integration, and support for AI‑driven conversational interfaces
• develop and maintain scalable and stable cloud applications leveraging Azure Cognitive Services such as OpenAI, Language Services, Speech Services, Cognitive Search, Chatbot and etc
• ensure code and tool conformance and compliance across the team and delivery
• ensure that the design is consistent with the solution architecture
• ensure that the solution can be tested and can be easily maintained
• ensure high code quality work on technical innovation, continuous improvement and apply modern solutions
• support the onboarding of new team members for his Pod and contribute to knowledge transfer and infra setup for the Pod’s evolving needs

Your team

You will be joining the Conversational Analytics Channel Expansion Pod in Singapore and will be part of a global team developing AI applications on the Cloud. We offer you a highly motivated and collaborative agile environment. Our goal is to enable UBS for a digital and analytical future! You will be focusing on developing backend application services on Azure infrastructure and integrating with Azure services. You’ll participate in all phases of the development lifecycle developing innovative applications. This role includes technical responsibilities, development possibilities and the chance to shape new solutions for the bank in a pivotal area.

Your expertise

• possess minimally 3+ years of experience in the development of Frontend (React JS), Backend (Node JS and Java) and good discipline in TDD
• design & development of Web API – REST
• software versioning tools using (e.g. git)
• excellent Engineering and open mindset to a learning culture and new technologies e.g. AI/ML, Streaming, Data Engineering, and Cloud computing
• programming skills, especially Python
• analytical and good problem‑solving skills
• familiarity with Scrum/Agile toolset e.g. git, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• proactive, resilient team player with good interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
