Company Overview

As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Site Monitor to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor progress of works in designated project regions.
• Collaborate with Main Contractors and stakeholders for effective job execution.
• Work closely with the Assistant Operation Manager (AOM) to optimize workflow and improve departmental processes.
• Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain quality and reduce rectification costs.
• Assign tasks to foremen and workers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, including worker training, risk assessment implementation, adherence to legal requirements, accident investigation, OH&S inspections, permit-to-work system implementation, and communication of safety procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Submit rectification papers and monthly repair cost reports to the AOM for analysis and documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Inspire and encourage colleagues, fostering a positive working environment.
• Encourage creative thinking and innovation among workers.
• Oversee batching plant operations, ensuring precise chemical dosing and equipment maintenance.
• Undertake any other responsibilities as instructed by the AOM.

Key Requirements

• NITEC, Diploma or Degree in an Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline) preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction trades, materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of foremen effectively, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the related construction industry.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
