About The Role

The Head of Finance steps into a pivotal, group-level position. It's the operational and analytical backbone of the finance office. You'll be instrumental in managing complex financial operations, streamlining multi-regional consolidation, and crafting executive-level reports that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a highly structured and detail-oriented finance leader. You'll be responsible for leading group finance operations, ensuring seamless, timely, and accurate financial consolidation across all entities, all while adhering to the highest standards of data integrity and compliance. A key part of your day will include providing daily updates on performance metrics, compliance exposures, and financial risks, ensuring the timely execution of decisions across all departments. You will own the financial narrative for strategic projects, working closely with project sponsors to provide visibility on major investments and cost programs, and consistently translating numbers into actionable business intelligence. Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in driving our group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering high-quality financial reporting, and supporting critical scenario planning for strategic decisions. This role also involves crafting compelling board and investor materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a visually consistent narrative that effectively communicates our financial story. You'll also be crucial in managing group-level tax planning and cross-border compliance, maintaining robust governance and control structures across all legal entities. Finally, you'll champion finance transformation and process excellence, supporting automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy throughout the finance function.

Skills And Experience Needed

To excel in this role, you should hold a CA / CPA / MBA (Finance or equivalent). We're seeking someone with 12 to 18 years of progressive finance experience, demonstrating a strong background in regional consolidation, financial operations, and strategic reporting. You must have hands-on experience in a group finance capacity, adept at managing cross-border teams and navigating complex, multi-entity financial structures. A strong foundation in accounting principles, compliance, controls, and financial modeling is essential. While not mandatory, prior experience within the data center, infrastructure, or high-growth tech sectors would be a distinct advantage. Beyond technical skills, we value candidates who possess the executive presence and maturity to engage confidently with senior stakeholders while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. You must also demonstrate a high level of discipline, confidentiality, and precision in all your communications and deliverables. Furthermore, excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills are crucial for effectively conveying complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
