Job summary

BREAK THE WHEEL LTD. in Singapore is seeking individuals who are passionate about working with youth on a part-time basis. You will man a centre, engage students, and co-conduct activities.

You will co-design activities with coaches, escalate complex situations to supervisors, and build positive relationships while guiding youth through decision-making and socio-emotional development. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, Sociology or a related field.
• Prior experience in youth work preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Meticulous in tracking and following up.

We’re looking for folks who are passionate about working with youth!

Goal

To support at-risk youth. Build positive relationships with them, facilitate their decision-making, and not tell them or advise them what to do. Guide their behavioural and socio-emotional development as they figure out their pathways, strengths and interests. Work closely with supervisors and coaches.

Requirements

• A gung ho personality, super-enthu, friendly with students.
• Diploma or degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, Sociology or a related field, from a local or recognised institution.
• Prior experience in youth work preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Meticulous in tracking and following up.
