Job summary

SPH Chinese Media Group is seeking a motivated Social Media Specialist to join HeyKaki. The role involves managing social platforms, writing captions, and creating Chinese content for young adults.

You will track performance, stay on top of trends, and contribute to offline engagement events. A diploma/degree and 1 year of relevant experience are required, with English and Chinese fluency a must.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in relevant disciplines and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Able to converse fluently in English and Chinese; bilingual.
• Able to write engaging social captions and manage uploads.
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides).
• Basic video editing using CapCut or Canva.
• Highly creative with a sense of humour and strong social media culture understanding.
• Organised and able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s social media scene is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), including content uploads, captions, copywriting and day-to-day management.
• Stay updated on best practices and experiment with formats/hashtags/templates.
• Track and analyse performance of videos and social content to improve future outputs.
• Create original Chinese content for young adults for social media, including videos, posts and memes.
• Support offline engagement events and outreach activities.
