Job summary

National Youth Council Singapore is seeking a dynamic individual to join the Community Nurturers team within Youth Corps Singapore. The role focuses on sustaining youth engagement by re-engaging youth leaders and volunteers, and by building a network of youth-led initiatives through strategic partnerships and cluster networks.

You will mentor youth volunteers, support ground-up initiatives, and manage community projects aligned with national priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to design youth-centric engagement programmes.
• Knowledge of youth engagement and development, and working with the social sector and ground-up groups.
• Good communication and writing skills with good command of English.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Enthusiastic about engaging and mentoring youth volunteers, with availability on weekday evenings and weekends.
• Experience in youth development, community engagement, volunteer management, partnership and stakeholder management, and/or events and programmes management.
• Background in youth development or community sector preferred.
• Relevant experiences will be advantageous: Manager (1 to 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Youth Re-engagement & Retention initiatives and metrics.
• Collaborate with internal Youth Corps teams and external organisations to surface volunteering and leadership opportunities.
• Track engagement metrics and refine strategies to improve participation.
• Oversee the Pay-It-Forward Award (PIFA) and processing of grant applications.
• Coordinate cluster network management and knowledge exchange activities.
• Plan and execute the annual Youth Corps Open House and related events.
• Review grant applications and closure reports to ensure timely disbursement.
