Job summary

Malvern Panalytical APAC is seeking a field service engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair XRF and XRD instruments across APAC. You will troubleshoot customer issues, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while performing preventative maintenance and service administration.

Travel domestically and internationally on short notice may be required; strong communication skills and ability to read technical drawings are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to install, commission, and maintain XRF/XRD instruments.
• Capable of diagnosing issues and coordinating corrective actions with customers.
• Reads technical manuals and drawings for service activities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair XRF and XRD instruments.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose customer problems, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and working protocols per Malvern Panalytical and customer requirements.
• Provide service support and basic training after installation.
• Perform preventative maintenance per factory guidelines.
• Handle service administration and report submissions.
• Manage spare parts per internal procedures.
