Job summary

Malvern Panalytical is seeking an engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair XRF and XRD instruments across APAC. You will troubleshoot customer issues, provide on-site or remote support, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in every service visit.

The role requires 2–4 years of instrument maintenance experience, ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. Training will be provided after installations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 2–4 years' experience maintaining analytical instruments or semiconductor equipment.
• Ability to read electronic drawings and English technical manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication with MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
• Available for remote or on-site support after hours and holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of current installed base of XRF, XRD in APAC
• Troubleshoot, diagnose customer problems, and coordinates appropriate corrective action directly.
• Conform always to MalvernPanalytical and customer’s safety, cleanliness, and working protocol policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Malvern Panalytical are understood and met. Carry out preventative maintenance activities to installed base as per factory guidelines.
• Provide Service Support and basic training after installation.
• General Service administration activities and report submission.
• Responsible for proper spare part handling per internal procedure

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Related
• 2~4 years of experience in maintaining analytical instruments or semiconductor equipment is preferred.
• Able to read electronic drawings, technical manual in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with MS office proficiency.
• Able to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice
• Can provide remote or on-site support after work hours and on holidays, depending on your customers\' needs.

This engineer will also support other SEMI products i.e. MRD’s & Wafer Analysers in APAC.
