Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a licensed WSHO and ECO to manage safety and environmental practices on our project in Singapore.

You will develop and enforce policies, perform inspections, conduct training, and liaise with MOM, NEA, and other authorities. The role requires a degree or diploma in Safety/Environmental/OSH, MOM WSHO registration, NEA-recognized ECO certification, and at least two years of local construction experience.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with MOM (Singapore).
• ECO certification recognised by NEA.
• Degree or Diploma in Safety / Environmental / Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in local construction.
• Strong knowledge of MOM WSH Act, RM Code of Practice, and local safety regulations.
• Experience in local building construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as WSHO and ECO for the project.
• Develop, implement, and enforce WSH policies and procedures per MOM WSH Act.
• Ensure site compliance with RM Code of Practice and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
• Oversee environmental measures per NEA requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and environmental checks.
• Provide safety and environmental briefings and training to site staff and subcontractors.
• Investigate safety incidents and environmental non-compliances, and recommend preventive measures.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, BCA, and authorities on safety matters.
• Maintain ISO, safety, and environmental documentation, records, and reports.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety and environmental reports.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Team.
