Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified WSHO to lead safety programs on a Singapore infrastructure project, ensuring compliance with the WSH Act and corporate policies.

The successful candidate will hold MOM registration, possess 3+ years of WSHO experience, and demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge while leading a safety-focused team and producing routine safety reports.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as WSHO with MOM in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of WSHE legislation including the WSH Act and environmental standards.
• Minimum 3 years of WSHO experience in Singapore, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Safety Programs to meet policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure work practices comply with WSH Act and company safety policy.
• Advise on Work Plans, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Identify problems and provide practical safety solutions.
• Lead colleagues and promote a safe work culture.
• Compile reports and records; conduct daily safety inspections.
• Submit weekly safety reports to management and clients.
• Participate in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Job Title: WSHO

Location: Project at Pioneer

Working hours: 9.00am to 6pm, 6.25 days work week, two sat off per month)

Salary: Up to $7k

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and implementation of Safety Program
• Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH act
• Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
• Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture
• Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection
• Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients
• Participate and involve in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audit
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
• Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects
• Salary will be commensurate with experience
