HWA SENG BUILDER PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to oversee safety compliance and implement safety programs. You will advise on risk assessments, prepare safety reports, and lead a safe work culture within the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and comprehensive knowledge of WSHE legislation. An attractive newcomer bonus and career progression opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant WSHO experience, preferably on large infrastructure projects.

Responsabilités

• Preparation and implementation of Safety Program.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policy and WSH act.
• Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures.
• Compile reports and carry out daily safety inspections.
• Lead colleagues to foster safe work culture.
• Compile reports and carry out daily safety inspections.
• Prepare weekly safety reports for management and clients.
• Participate in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of Safety Program
• Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH act
• Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
• Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture
• Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection
• Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients
• Participate and involve in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audit
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
• Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects
• Salary will be commensurate with experience
