Job summary

JIN CHENG PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health professional to lead safety across construction sites and precast facilities. You will conduct inspections, develop safety plans, and ensure compliance with the WSH Act and MOM requirements.

You will train staff, perform risk assessments, investigate incidents, liaise with MOM and BCA, maintain documentation, and promote a safety-first culture across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Registered WSH Officer (MOM) preferred or required depending on position.
• 3–5 years of safety experience in Singapore's construction industry; precast experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, MOM regulations, and construction safety practices.
• Familiar with risk assessment, incident investigation, safety audits, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections at construction sites and precast facilities.
• Implement, monitor and improve workplace safety policies per WSH Act and MOM.
• Advise management and project teams on safety matters and minimise risks.
• Prepare, review and maintain RA, SWP, safety plans, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks to raise awareness and compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Liaise with MOM and BCA on inspections, audits and regulatory matters.
• Maintain safety documentation including reports, records and statutory docs.
• Collaborate with project managers and production teams to promote safety culture.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety initiatives and provide performance updates.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
