Job summary

TOTAL MANPOWER PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to lead safety on construction sites in Singapore.

You will implement and enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates hold a valid Singapore WSHO certification, with experience in construction site safety management, knowledge of the WSH Act, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project teams and authorities.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Singapore registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
• Minimum experience in construction site safety management preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH Act and construction safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce workplace safety and health policies at construction sites.
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety training.
• Monitor workers’ compliance with PPE and safety procedures.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and government authorities on safety matters.
• Maintain proper safety records and documentation.
