Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to lead safety operations across building construction projects in Singapore. The role requires formulating policies, conducting risk assessments, and liaising with authorities.

You will oversee accident investigations, implement EHS trainings, and chair the WSH committee to maintain OHSAS certifications. Travel within Singapore is required; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ field experience as WSHO with Building Construction project experience.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and Fire Safety Manager.
• Experience with OHSAS ISO 45001:2018 certifications is a plus.
• Willing to travel within Singapore.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety coordinators and oversee safety operations across projects.
• Formulate and implement company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for projects.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and submit reports to authorities/clients.
• Plan EHS trainings, meetings, and safety promotional programmes.
• Chair WSH committee and manage OHSAS certifications.
