Job summary

CHINA JIANGSU CONSTRUCTION GROUP CO., LTD. SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a Safety & Environmental Management professional to implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental Management Systems on construction sites in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance, conduct inspections, and collaborate with project teams to maintain a safe work environment. The role requires a valid WSHO registration, typically at least 5 years of construction experience, and strong bilingual communication

Qualifications

• Valid WSHO registration.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for effective communication.
• Skilled in preparing and managing paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions to maintain workplace safety compliance.
• Collaborate with site operations staff and Project Managers to resolve Workplace Safety and Health issues effectively.
• Prepare detailed accident reports and conduct thorough investigations to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Lead and facilitate toolbox meetings to communicate safety procedures and updates to site personnel.
• Execute and revise risk assessments and safe working procedures on site to mitigate hazards and enhance safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory safety and environmental regulations and submit mandatory documents within required timelines.
