Job summary

Certis is seeking an Asst. Manager / Manager, Workplace Safety and Health to coordinate and monitor safety activities across operational sites in Singapore. The role ensures compliance with WSH requirements and drives continual safety improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities include leading risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and safety reporting. Strong analytical, governance, and communication skills are essential to engage regulators, clients, and internal teams

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Safety & Health or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Workplace Safety & Health experience.
• Familiarity with Singapore WSH legislation, WICA, BizSAFE, and ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workplace safety inspections, audits, and safety walks.
• Monitor safety findings and ensure corrective actions.
• Review risk assessments and safety controls for effectiveness.
• Identify and elevate workplace hazards and risks.
• Support safety walks, PPE inspections, and joint inspections with stakeholders.
• Manage incident reporting processes and support investigations.
• Monitor safety performance indicators and trends.
• Prepare safety reports and recommendations for management.
• Coordinate safety initiatives, campaigns, and engagement programs.
• Liaise with regulators, clients, and external partners including CAG.
