Job summary

Wah & Hua Pte Ltd, a multi-material recycling and waste management company, is seeking a dedicated Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer to lead and manage safety initiatives across all sites in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with MOM requirements, review risk assessments, conduct inspections, train staff, and coordinate audits including ISO standards.

Qualifications

• MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with a minimum of 1 year registration.
• Diploma in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and ISO documentation.
• Singaporean Only

Responsibilities

• Oversee WSH matters to ensure safe operations across sites.
• Develop and review safety policies to align with standards.
• Conduct safety inspections to verify MOM compliance.
• Implement statutory acts and company safety rules.
• Coordinate WSH training and inductions for staff.
• Maintain and review fire safety and HSE licenses.
• Plan internal and external safety audits, including ISO standards.
• Monitor subcontractors' safety procedures and performance.
• Prepare monthly safety reports for leadership.
• Report safety infringements to management promptly.
