Job summary

CBRE GWS PTE. LTD. is seeking a WSH Officer to oversee Workplace Safety and Health policies, ensuring the implementation of current and revised requirements at the site.

You will conduct risk assessments, develop safety and fire plans, and collaborate with clients to tailor safety programs while maintaining compliance across security and health measures.

This role emphasizes risk mitigation, regular audits, and clear communication with account teams and security staff to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues clearly.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant HSE operational experience in a professional setting.
• Experience or familiarity with fire safety and environmental management would be advantageous (FSM / EC officer).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including emergency response plans and fire safety plans.
• Oversee security operations and maintain site-level safety programs and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for physical safety and health risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand safety requirements and tailor safety plans accordingly.
• Perform regular safety audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide safety support to employees and visitors, including guidance on safety procedures.

About the Role:

As a CBRE WSH Officer, you'll oversee the Workplace Safety and Health policies and plans - implementation of both the current and revised.
This job is a part of the Safety Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the Protocols, as well as the local laws and regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including emergency response plans, and fire safety plans
• Oversees security operations; Develop, implement, and maintain site‑level safety and security programs, policies, and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for physical security and health & safety risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them
• Collaborate with client to understand their safety requirements and develop safety plans that meet their needs
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with safety policies/ procedures
• Provide safety support to employees and visitors, including responding to safety incidents and providing guidance on safety procedures
• Communicate with account team and security personnel, to ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented consistently

What You'll Need:

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant HSE operational experience
• Mechanical & Electrical working experience preferred
• Recognized relevant professional qualification in fire safety and environmental management would be a distinct advantage (e.g. FSM / Registered EC officer)
• Experience of working in a number of the following areas in a client facing Health, Safety and Environment compliance
