Job summary

CBRE Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a WSH Officer to oversee Workplace Safety and Health policies and plans, ensuring implementation of current and revised regulations across the site. You will lead risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies for physical security and HSE risks, collaborate with clients, and conduct safety audits to ensure compliance; strong communication is essential.

This role requires a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health and at least 3 years of experience;

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C) required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HSE operational experience.
• Mechanical & Electrical experience preferred.
• Professional qualification in fire safety and environmental management would be an advantage.
• Experience in client-facing Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including emergency response plans and fire safety plans.
• Oversees security operations; develop, implement and maintain site-level safety and security programs, policies, and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for physical security and health & safety risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify safety hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with client to understand their safety requirements and develop safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Provide safety support to employees and visitors, including responding to safety incidents and guidance on safety procedures.
• Communicate with account team and security personnel to ensure policies are implemented consistently.

About the Role:

As a CBRE WSH Officer, you'll oversee the Workplace Safety and Health policies and plans - implementation of both the current and revised.

This job is a part of the Safety Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the Protocols, as well as the local laws and regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including emergency response plans, and fire safety plans
• Oversees security operations; Develop, implement, and maintain site‑level safety and security programs, policies, and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for physical security and health & safety risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them
• Collaborate with client to understand their safety requirements and develop safety plans that meet their needs
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with safety policies/ procedures
• Provide safety support to employees and visitors, including responding to safety incidents and providing guidance on safety procedures
• Communicate with account team and security personnel, to ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented consistently

What You'll Need:

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant HSE operational experience
• Mechanical & Electrical working experience preferred
• Recognized relevant professional qualification in fire safety and environmental management would be a distinct advantage (e.g. FSM / Registered EC officer)
• Experience of working in a number of the following areas in a client facing Health, Safety and Environment compliance
• Excellent communication skills
