Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to uphold Workplace Safety and Health standards across operations.

The role focuses on inspections, inductions, incident investigations, and safety trainings. You will work with supervisors to ensure adequate First Aiders, maintain EOHS documents, and promote safety initiatives; candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering and WSH experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of WSH standards and at least 1 year of relevant practice.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and conduct risk assessments.
• Experience performing safety audits and inspections.
• Diploma in Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure MOM safety requirements and company policies.
• Provide Safety Induction Course to employees, vendors and contractors.
• Assist with monthly EHS inspections and address issues before meetings.
• Perform pre-operation safety checks per company requirements.
• Check First Aid, firefighting equipment, and emergency showers monthly.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure adequate First Aiders and CERT members.
• Assist with safety promotion planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with licensed inventory for P&FM, HS, and EP.
• Assist with incident investigations and implement controls to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare safety reports and report infringements and incidents timely.
• Review and update EOHS documents.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform safety audits and inspections.
