Job summary

G.C.M. ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD.

seeks a Registered WSHO to implement and enforce safety policies on construction sites in Singapore. You will conduct daily inspections, risk assessments, PTW systems, and safety training for workers and subcontractors. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of the Singapore WSH Act, and excellent incident investigation and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with MOM Singapore.
• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
• Strong communication and incident investigation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce WSH policies on site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and corrective actions.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and WSH training for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on WSH matters.
• Maintain WSH records, safety statistics, and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports.
• Support safety audits, emergency drills, and ensure MOM compliance.
• Inspection of site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance are in proper working condition and do not pose any hazard
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
