Job summary

L&K Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking an Environmental Safety professional to support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Integrated Management System on project sites.

This role requires monitoring of safety compliance and conducting audits to ensure alignment with the WSH Act and ISO standards. The incumbent will lead toolbox talks, perform incident investigations, and coordinate risk assessments while maintaining up-to-date certifications and

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and reviewing the Integrated Management System.
• Monitor sites for compliance with WSH Act and ISO standards.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety promotion activities.
• Investigate safety incidents and prepare corrective-action reports.
• Ensure certifications, permits, and documentation are up to date.
• Coordinate and participate in risk assessments and ensure compliant bridging documents.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job description

• Location: Tampines / Woodlands (This position will be based at the project site and will require travel between the two locations as needed.)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8am to 5:30pm, Sat: 8am to 12:00pm)
• Willingness to commit to extended hours and Shift Work

Job Description:

• Assist in the implementation, review, and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management System.
• Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and ISO standards.
• Conduct regular site safety audits, toolbox meetings, and promotional programs to foster a strong safety culture.
• Investigate all safety incidents, prepare reports, and propose corrective actions for management review.
• Ensure all safety-related certifications, permits, and documentation are up to date and maintained.
• Coordinate and participate in risk assessments and ensure bridging documentation meets project specifications.
• Recommend and apply reasonably practicable control measures for all identified EHS risks.Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in an environmental control or environmental management role, preferably in thesemiconductorindustry
• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• MOM-registered WSH Coordinator and NEA-registered Environmental Control Officer certifications are mandatory
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction or high-tech facility environments (e.g., semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centers)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, WSH Act, and other applicable regulations
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
