Job summary

GD Precision Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC EDM operator to run and maintain EDM machines, ensuring high precision finishes. You will read drawings, verify tolerances, and monitor tooling with micrometers and profile projectors.

Shift work is required, and English comprehension is necessary for programming and reporting. Applicants should possess NTC/NITEC certification or equivalent and have experience in precision engineering or tool making.

Qualifications

• Operates CNC EDM machines to achieve high precision.
• Understands drawings and tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC EDM machines.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment.
• Ensure product tolerances within ±0.005mm.
• Read and interpret drawings in English.

• Able operate CNC EDM machine
• Knowledge of EDM spark
• Understandingof drawing
• Must know how to use: Micrometer, Vernier caliper, toolmaker scope, profile projector,digital dial indicator,etc
• Able to control the tolerance in+-0.005mm
• Able to work rotating shift
• At least 1 year experience in Precision CNC EDM/ Wirecut.
• Able to operate machines to achieve high accuracy and fine finishing.
• Write and Read Simple English
• Able to maintain equipment and machines

Requirements

• NTC/NITEC Related technical skills certification
• Experience in Precision Engineering / Tool Making
• Possess basic proficiency in English to operate EDM machines programmed in English
