Job summary

UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION (SINGAPORE BRANCH) invites process engineers to join and develop expertise in the semiconductor industry. You will conduct design and development experiments to stabilize processes, lower costs and raise yields, collaborating with manufacturers and engineers to drive efficiency.

You will monitor in-line SPC/defect/ equipment abnormalities, lead productivity-improvement projects for new processes, and establish parameters to ensure line stability across diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor foundry module process.
• Experience with 22/28 nm and below advanced technology nodes is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and project management for process improvement or technology transfer.
• Ability to analyze complex process issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Experience with SPC, 8D reporting, DOE, FMEA and PMO is preferred.
• Able to commit to shift work.

• Day to Day monitoring and ownership to timely address in-line SPC/defect/Equipment abnormality, handling and disposition
• Manage projects in productivity improvement, particularly for new processes, using process characteristic analytical tool to improve process condition and technology
• Establish process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment to ensure line stability

• Strong understanding of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.
