Job summary

Hytech is seeking an experienced Trader to own weekend trading operations across our 24/7 CFD offering, spanning multiple asset classes and digital assets.

You will manage trading P&L, market risk and capital with autonomy, making real-time decisions during volatile markets and collaborating with trading, quantitative and technology teams to continuously improve strategies and execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a risk-taking trading role on either the buy side or sell side.
• Strong understanding of market risk, position management and trading P&L.
• Hands-on experience with systematic and/or algorithmic trading.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of trading P&L, market risk and capital during weekend trading sessions.
• Make independent, real-time trading and risk decisions during volatile or unexpected market conditions.
• Monitor exposures, liquidity and market movements across multiple asset classes and 24/7 markets.
• Design, test and optimise weekend trading and risk-management strategies.
• Identify trading opportunities and continuously improve pricing, execution and risk frameworks.
• Partner with quantitative, technology and trading teams to enhance our algorithmic trading capabilities.
• Contribute directly to the development and expansion of our 24/7 trading product offering.
