Job summary

Airswift is seeking a qualified Proposal Engineer to prepare competitive technical and commercial bids for water and wastewater projects in Singapore. You will review tender specs, design processes, obtain vendor quotations, and develop cost-effective proposals for submission.

You’ll coordinate with engineering teams on clarifications, generate P&ID drawings, and help identify new business opportunities while travel to client meetings and site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proposal engineering experience.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Review tender specifications and prepare process designs.
• Obtain quotations from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost-effective costings and bid proposals.
• Generate and coordinate P&ID and General Arrangement drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for technical clarifications.
• Follow up on proposals and negotiate with customers and vendors.
• Review awarded contracts and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
