Job summary

Hydroleap in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented Proposal Engineer to craft high-quality technical and commercial tenders for water and wastewater solutions. You will bridge Sales, Process Engineering, Operations, and other teams to translate customer needs into compelling proposals.

You’ll size treatment trains, develop cost models, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with gate processes. This hands-on role rewards technical depth, disciplined tendering, and continuous improvement through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years in a proposal, tendering or applications engineering role in water/wastewater or EPC.
• Solid knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies; exposure to electrochemical treatment is a plus.
• Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and technical specs; build CAPEX/OPEX models.
• Strong writing, editing, and document management skills.
• Comfortable meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries, RFQs and tender docs; assess feasibility against Hydroleap tech.
• Size treatment train and translate pilot results to full-scale design assumptions.
• Prepare process flows, mass balances, and design inputs with the design team.
• Develop BOMs, obtain vendor quotes, and build CAPEX/OPEX models.
• Write and manage full technical and commercial proposals to submission standards.
• Coordinate deadlines and respond to clarifications during negotiation.
